What you eating?

Yes - highschool homecoming tomorrow. Orphanage homecoming end of month. You need to ask cousin D about a family reunion.

:bigass: btw I had a subway turkey bacon quacamole with a salad for trimmings. Foot longed that bitch.

I like Subway's veggie pattie in a salad with spinach and sweet peppers.

Smoothie King Gladiator chocolate banana and strawberry protein shake is a good meal substitute for me when I'm out at the mall. I'm not touching anything in the food court. This is Texas. Everything is fried or full of salt and sugar. The protein shake I get is almost like a milkshake. Almost thick enough to eat with a spoon. And, it is chocolate. And, it has bananas and strawberries in it. Yum. Yum. Yum. And, it is good diet stats wise. Do you have Smoothie Kings in Vermont?

I like the Subway steak and cheese with "the works" even the banana peppers and jalapeno peppers.

Nope, no chains allowed in most small towns. Some national chains in the cities like Burlington, Rutland and Brattleboro, but I think Smoothie King isnt a Northeastern type brand.

Had some of the barbecue at the homecoming tailgate party. My old school kicked butt at the football game. When I left at half time the score was 67 to 10. I don't understand much about football - touchdowns and kid knocked down is about it. Still, it was fun sitting out in the 104 degree evening in my new "Spirit" t-shirt and snazzy jeans, making new friends, watching the kids be so earnest in their high school activities. God love them.

Need to go to bed. Heart Walk in the morning and I'm picking up people at 7:30 to head that way. Good night.

Could somebody wake me up with a cup of fresh brewed coffee, egg whites scrambled with cheese, and maybe a piece of wheat toast with a little butter? Pretty please with sugar on top? I'll share my strawberries with you.

Spinach with oven roasted chicken salad with black olives, tomatoes and sweet peppers. About to go to FYH 2nd Saturday drum circle with fire spinners, dancers, hoopers, and whoever else is up to performing tonight. Woo hoo. Maybe have a cookie later - macadamia nut.

It is a rainy, chilly day here in the heart of Texas. Wet leaves and promises of a cold, cold winter. Making a beef vegetable with rice soup. It is starting to smell really good in here. It is a little high on carbs for me but very low in sodium. Could have left out the rice to make it more carb friendly. But, got to have some rice once in awhile. Good for the innards!

Was supposed to have pot roast and noodles tonight, but my mom informed me too late that it takes like 6 hours for pot roast, so I'm having fish sticks and powdered mash potatoes instead. Pot roast tommorrow.

Are you making that pot roast in a crock pot or in an oven?

I tenderize and dredge the roast in seasoned flour, brown it on all sides in a little bit of oil in a frying pan on top of the stove, then put the roast and veggies, seasoned with a packet of brown gravy mix, and enough water to cover into a dutch oven in the oven at 350 degrees for about 3 hours. Still a bit late for tonight unless you don't mind eating that late.
