The ones that have to move to GET to the fridge, yes, I might worry about. I think he meant the other kind -- not sure, though, whether he meant the "I had the refrigerator put in the living room next to the couch" stage or the more severe "It just ripples and generates a wave in the ocean of flab that causes a roll to undulate across the refrigerator door, flinging it open and sucking food out into the undertow and back to the gaping maw" stage.
