It isn't any wonder why either of you had your admin CP priv revoked after all, (just my opinion) and still don't have them back.

I actually doubt that I was talking to you, because at that point I wasn't using MSN regularly at all, but ok. To give you the benefit of the doubt, maybe I was. But if there was some huge conspiracy going on where I was trying to delete threads (which is funny, because I pretty much don't think threads should be deleted ever, and I've said that many times), I certainly wouldn't have told you because I know how fickle you are.

GTC's basically right, except that I was trying to merge threads, not move them to the archives. They were some of my own spam threads. I couldn't tell you why shit got deleted because I was trying to merge, but it wouldn't go, so I clicked it multiple times. It certainly wasn't malicious - I quite like LC and DL and really have no problem with anyone that posts in the Badlands.

And you know what? After that I don't think I ever used any of the functions again.

I also never had any access to the CP whatsoever. I wasn't an admin in anything more than name. The entire reason I was instated was because some posters thought I ran this place, and I thought it was hilarious to see what would happen if they thought I actually did.

OK so maybe you couldn't approve or ban accounts as a junior admin. I guess it really was Eggs who did everything then.

However you could still log into the adminCP and look at the buttons you couldn't use, therefore you had adminCP access.

there's like 32 admins or something? each having little to no power for most of the time? why not have about 4-5 global mods or something to that effect, give admin handles to the owners, which is mentalist and the tech guy.

i don't see why there's so much staff drama either, if you didnt have thepower to do anything why were you given admin access in the first place. local mod of something would've been smarter, with access to the staff forum.

You know what, I've been avoiding this thread because it's exactly what I expected would happen even before it was made and internal TK drama bores me even more than endless Sex and the City reruns. I can't be arsed to throw down an opinion --even though I have one-- because right now I'm fucking wasted on a cocktail of whisky and cocaine and I have to work in 4 hours which makes me slightly cranky.


The fact this thread has run to 5 pages is indication enough that we all need to get out more (or in my case less). Admin abuse? Inconsistency in policy? Collapse of the tenuous thread that keeps this as even a semblance of a free speech board?

Sometimes I feel like bringing the pain down on everyone I don't like. But then I realise that there would only be about 6 people posting after I was finished.

Consistency is important. Blackfoot is a massive bitch who doesn't deserve this level of attention and the post count in this thread makes me sad as a result of that. I know I'm less than impressed with the endless cavalcade of bullshit that is spewed in SF but it's something that has to be approached in some sort of consensus if it is going to be dealt with. I really have nothing else to say because I think I'm going to pass out and TK drama is only a very temporary distraction at this point so catch you on the flip side.
