Last geese sighting of the year, one can hope.

Geese sighted flying not far from airport and by local shopping center and hotel area! Geese could be observing our Christmas shopping and airplanes!

Most people know that Geese fly in a V pattern.

Many of them know why. In case you don't, it allows the trailing geese to 'draft' the leader and conserve energy. They rotate leaders in order to spread this around.

usually one side of the V is longer than the other... OK, you knew that..... but did you know why?

Saw a duck up in Saratoga. Tried to pet it, but it was more interested in searching or food. Got yelled at by some girl(hippie chick probably) for blocking the duck's path. "Its their sidewalk too!"
