A girdle doesn't hide fat. All a girdle does is smooth the shape and control jiggles. It might make you look a few pounds slimmer and keep the butt cheeks from bouncing all over the place in those nice clingy or form fitting outfits. A girdle isn't going to make a fat person not fat.
