Well I'm sure Anne would have made it if I'd seen The Dark Knight Rises.
The Beckinsale/Dennings war is an interesting one. Both so different, yet so appealing to me. Kat Dennings in many ways is the ultimate expression of my Jewish actress obsession: combining features of Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and Michelle Trachtenberg but adding her own quirky unique twist (and gigantic breasts.) But is she too quirky to stay on the top permanently? Is there something to be said for the more subtle types? And why is she in such a terrible sitcom?
Beckinsale on the other hand is perhaps closer to the typical ideal, an absolutely flawless body and beautiful face. But is she too "Hollywood"? The spectre of the "she's had surgery!" rumours is always there, though personally I choose to believe she's natural (just with lots and lots of working out) as she doesn't look "fake" to me and has a warmth about her (being English helps.) But will I eventually tire of her "perfection" and seek out the quirky again?
I don't know who will win this battle, but ultimately it could decide the fate of my very soul.
